As part of National Youth Week, Word and Mouth, RiverConnect, River Country Adventours and Goulburn Broken CMA ran a Free canoe, guided walk and BBQ.
Over 20 people paticipated in the youth focused event, where they enjoyed a relaxing paddle on the Goulburn River from Daintons Bridge to Jordans Bend, before taking a guided walk along the river, to finish at Jaycees Park for a BBQ lunch. The event gave participants the opportunity to appreciate our rivers from a different perspective and gain some insight into how we use our rivers. Word and Mouth and RiverConnect hope to run similar events in the future.
