Locals and visitors shared breakfast with the bird life at Cussen Park recently.

As part of the 20th Anniversary of Cussen Park, a bushland park formed from the reclamation of wasteland by the Tatura community, locals and visiors enjoyed a beautiful spring morning with a guided bird walk.

Species sighted, included a range of ducks, swamphens, spoonbills and parrots. (A full list of species can be viewed in the below attachment)

Participants also enjoyed other activies such as water sampling, bug ID and a scavenger, between formalities and the cutting of the cake.

Well done to the Cussen Park Committee, other event organisers and all those who've been involved in such a wonderful project for the past 20 years.
