Students from Notre Dame College attended an Environmental Education Event at Victoria Park Lake on Wednesday 18 March.
Students from Notre Dame MCP Celebrated World Water Day at Victoria Park Lake.
Cultural Officer, Hilda Stewart from Parks Victoria spoke with the students about Indigenous History of the area, and Parks Victoria's role in looking after our river.
Other presenters spoke on:
- Waste Education,
- Water Quality Monitoring in Victoria Lake and the Goulburn River,
- Wetland Ecology
The students concluded the morning with canoing on the lake.
