Each year RiverConnect partners with agency and community groups to participate in Clean Up Australia Day events, however due to wet weather this year, some events were postponed.
Greater Shepparton City Council staff participated in cleaning up along the Goulburn river behind Princess Park as part of Business Clean Up Australia Day.
A joint fun run and clean up day with Congupna Primary School at KidsTown was held on Sunday 22 April.
RiverConnect also supported the Shepparton Mooroopna Urban Landcare Group (SMULG) with their clean up event also held on Sunday 22 April, where participants undertook clean up works at the Shepparton Weir site.
