Semester 2 this year, Shepparton High Yr 11 VCAL class have been spending time at their Reach along the Goulburn River - Shepparton Weir

In Septemberthe Shepparton High VCAL students helped Parks Victoria field officers and crew from the Fruit Industry Employment Program install bollards around the carpark. This is part of the Shepparton Weir Track rationalization project that has been taking place over the past few months. Other activities the students have been involved in are: revegetation with indigenous trees and shrub along disused tracks; bus tour of the RiverConnect area; rubbish management; Indigenous session with the Parks Vic Indigenous Rangers at Jordan’s Bend; Parks Vic Ranger talk and photography sessions.
