The Flats
The Flats is a culturally significant area on the floodplain in the Shepparton Regional Park between Shepparton and Mooroopna that was home to many Aboriginal families after the Cummeragunja Walk Off in 1939. Along The Flats Walk path, stories are shared through interpretive signage of historical events.

Kaiela Arts is a regional hub, gallery and workshop space for First Nations creativity and cultural expression. Located on the Ground Floor of the Shepparton Art Museum facing Victoria Park Lake.

Dunyak Moira (meaning fishing lake in Yorta Yorta language) is a creative partnership of Goulburn Valley Water and Burnanga Indigenous Fishing Club Inc. Located on Morrissey Street, Merrigum a 20 minute drive west of Shepparton, two unused water storage reservoirs have been transformed into a community space and catch and release fishing lagoons. The lagoons are now home to over a hundred native fish, as well as ducks and other wildlife.
